COVID-19 Vaccinations Encouraged

COVID-19 Vaccinations Encouraged

The Town of Atherton strongly encourages every resident in Town, as well as all of our Town staff, to GET VACCINATED for the COVID-19 virus, if health and personal religious beliefs permit it. The Town is in alignment with the County and State in requiring that all non-vaccinated individuals wear a face covering when inside public facilities. That policy is subject to becoming more strict as we deal with the different variants of COVID-19.

Want to know how to obtain vaccination records?

• The state of California has provided an online portal to display an electronic vaccination record. The state says individuals who lose their original paper vaccine card can print the digital record from the state’s website.

• If participants discover an error in their vaccine record, they should contact the provider where they received the vaccine to make the correction.

• The state of California has established its official vaccine records website to verify a resident's vaccination status, since it is more secure than a paper document and cannot be lost or forged.

We must do all that we can as a community to stop the spread of COVID-19.

Caltrain

Caltrain Construction Updates - August 14 to August 20, 2021

On August 14 to August 20, Caltrain will be working during the night to install foundations and install equipment on poles. Night work hours will be from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Caltrain Electrification

Caltrain Electrification is a key component of the Caltrain Modernization program which will electrify the Caltrain Corridor from San Francisco's 4th and King Caltrain Station to approximately the Tamien Caltrain Station.

The primary purpose of Caltrain Electrification is to improve Caltrain system performance, reduce long-term environmental impact by reducing noise, improving regional air quality and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. An electrified Caltrain system would better address Peninsula commuters' vision of increased service and improved travel times in an environmentally friendly and reliable way.
