Insurance and Emergency PreparednessJoin ADAPT at their Community Meeting this Saturday, February 3 at 9:00 AM in the Atherton Council Chambers, 80 Fair Oaks Lane. They'll be helping you to answer the question: Are my insurance policies aligned with disaster preparedness?
Due to extreme weather events, insurance policies are rapidly changing in terms of what they cover and what they cost, and often are being altogether discontinued for some areas and coverage. At this community meeting we'll hear from an industry insider and bay area local, insurance agent Emily Chapman, who will share her insights and perspectives on what's going on in her industry at present. She'll also address considerations for coverage specific to fire, flooding, and earthquakes.
